Don't Give Up, Keep Going

You know when you're determined to complete something, but there are moments when you just don’t feel like doing anything? Moments when you know you promised to write an article every day for 30 days, and then a day like today arrives, and you’re so exhausted you don’t even want to touch your computer. But then you remember—you’d be breaking the promise you made to yourself. And you decide it's not fair to let yourself down.

You tell yourself, “Just one day off won’t hurt,” but if that were true, you wouldn’t be feeling bad or anxious about not following through on what you promised yourself.

Well, by now you've probably figured out that I’m talking about me—and about today. Lol.
Today is one of those days.

But what I realized is that I’ve been writing non-stop for 20 days. I’ve been consistent, steady. And even though there have been moments when I spent the whole day just trying to get into the zone to feel inspired, I now realize those efforts planted seeds from the very first day of this challenge.

For 20 days, I’ve shown up. I haven’t given up.

There were days I wrote at dawn, others early in the morning, some in the afternoon, and like today, late at night. Because I’m living a human life in a human body.

And the most beautiful thing is, I’m proud of myself for doing it. I didn’t give up. Every day when you show support through my photos or words, it makes me so happy—to write for others, but also for myself. Even if it’s not what I planned, knowing there's a family out there, a connection, is beautiful.

To know I can love people I don’t even know, and help them with just my words or photos—that fills me with harmony and joy. These seeds I’ve been planting fill me with gratitude.

And today, a day I could have easily said, “Ugh, no—I’m tired, I won’t do it”—if I had listened to that distant echo of past thoughts that once told me:
"Come on, it’s just one day you don’t write, it won’t matter. It’s not like you have thousands of followers or family outside of your kids and boyfriend…”

If I had let that thought have power over me, you wouldn’t be reading this right now.
And that shows me I’ve overcome something even bigger than exhaustion: the fear of continuing even when no one’s watching.

That fills me with pride.

It’s beautiful to see myself this way. To see how I overcame that fear. How I heard it, let it pass, and said, “Hello… and goodbye.”

Because I’m not writing this blog or these articles for anyone specific. I’m not trying to impress anyone—except myself.

And seeing that I value myself this much…
That alone is enough.

So when you hear that voice say, “Don’t do it today—it’s not like it matters,” or “You’re not that important,”
Answer back:
Yes, it does matter. It matters to me. And I am the person who must appreciate it first—before anyone else.

Don’t do it for anyone else—do it for you.
And that…
That is braver than doing it for someone else.

You know why?
Because sometimes it’s easier to do things for others—so the pressure isn’t on you (or so you think), it’s on the person you’re doing it for.
But what happens when you do something for someone else… and they don’t notice? Or don’t think it’s enough? Or simply don’t care?

Then what?

When we do things for ourselves, that’s when we truly hold power.
Why? Because we’re doing it to make ourselves happy.

Yes—exactly. Making you happy is what matters.

So today, I spoke from my soul.
Tomorrow… we’ll see.

But for now, I dare you—dare to silence that voice that says doing something for yourself isn’t enough.
Because let me remind you: You are enough.
And you are so, so, so worth it.

And anyone who thinks otherwise? They don’t deserve to be in your life.
Because if I, someone who’s never even met you, can see your worth so clearly, then I promise—there are many more who will too.

You’re just not surrounded by people who are tuned into your frequency yet.

So dare.
Finish.
Don’t give up.
Just for today—don’t give up.

You don’t have to finish everything, but keep going.
Whatever you started—if it fills you with passion and truly makes you happy—then keep going.

I promise you, it’s worth it.
You are worth it.

I love you.
